Essential GST Concepts and Practical Applications

With GST impacting nearly all business transactions, there may be instances where errors are made in the application of GST. This is reflected in IRAS’s collection of $205 million in additional tax and penalties from GST audits in FY 24/25.

Fortunately, many GST errors can be prevented through a stronger grasp of the rules. It is therefore essential for organisations to ensure their staff are well-equipped with the knowledge to apply GST correctly and reduce exposure to penalties.

You will understand how the GST rules and regulations apply to business transactions and avoid costly GST errors. As GST is a transaction-based tax, GST errors are generally recurring if the business transactions remain largely the same. With the practical knowledge acquired in this workshop, it will certainly help your organisation in mitigating GST risks with early detection of errors for timely rectification.
