Paul was formerly from the Tax & Accounting Division of Wolters Kluwer. He had curated and managed seminars and workshops in Accounting, Taxation and other technical topics for Accounting and Tax Professionals.

Besides heading the Continuing Professional Education ( CPE ) Department, Paul had held management positions in various departments during his tenure in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore ( ICPAS ) [ now known as the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants ( ISCA ) ] .

During his stint in the Institute of Banking and Finance ( IBF ), Paul was involved in the development of Continuing Professional Development framework, administration of training grants and funding and the accreditation of wealth management programmes.

Paul has a professional accountancy qualification, and had held pro-bono advisory roles in various not-for-profit organisations.
